About the Course

A hands-on introduction to designing, commissioning, and troubleshooting WinCC V7.x SCADA projects. Participants build an end-to-end project: connect to a PLC (real or simulated), create tags and graphics (with reusable faceplates), implement alarms and trends, set up user administration, add basic reports and scripts, and practice diagnostics, backup, and deployment.

You’ll Learn To

• Explain WinCC V7.x architecture and set up a new project
• Configure PLC communications and validate tag flow
• Engineer screens with Graphics Designer including reusable faceplates
• Implement Alarm Logging and Tag Logging (trending) with filtering and acknowledgment
• Manage users/roles and apply security best practices
• Diagnose communication/project issues and perform backups/restores
